Always enjoyed doing a little extra

I’m often asked to bring proactive thinking to business and agency moments in culture. The projects I’ve put here are the ones I loved working on and that I hope made some impact, no matter how small.

Ad Age Comeback Agency of The Year

When R/GA won the Ad Age 2020 A-List Comeback Agency of The Year title, I was tapped to think of an image to submit. This of course was in April, a time of great uncertainty, mass layoffs and troubled waters ahead. So instead of a grand image of the C-Suite, we put the name of every single employee at the NY office. It was a way to foster solidarity when the agency needed it most.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

A study by The Trevor Project showed that affirming and using the correct pronouns reduced the risk of suicide by 50% for transgender and nonbinary youth. This insight spurred a group of us into action to bring this life saving statistic to table for Transgender Day of Remembrance. We made a suite of Zoom tiles, LinkedIn and Facebook cover images and in-feed posts displaying a simple message, ‘pronouns save lives’, made available across the network. We also built a Slack Bot, which reminded employees on the day and now ongoing about the power of pronouns when typed in messages.
